Account, sync, and privacy
Check what has synced
The iPhone app keeps working records on the device and syncs account records so another signed-in device can receive them. The browser may show a cached copy while it loads or reconnects. After signing in, let the initial load finish and check for pending writes or sync warnings before switching devices or relying on a recent edit elsewhere.
Offline iPhone changes can wait to sync. Do not assume another device or connected service has them until the warning clears. If an entry seems missing, reconnect, reopen the record, and confirm whether it is present before trying again; repeating a save can create a duplicate. A read-only API response describes the server snapshot it evaluated. Its freshness timestamps do not prove that every device finished syncing.
Account and purchase access
Use the same Accrue sign-in on iPhone and web for the same account records. If you cannot find a record, check that both devices use the same account before creating another. Restore an App Store purchase in Accrue using the Apple Account used for that purchase.
Manage a web purchase in the web app under Settings → Account → Manage subscription. Manage an App Store purchase in your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Account deletion cancels neither type of subscription; manage it separately before deleting the account.
Keep private information out
Accrue is for supervised-experience recordkeeping, not clinical documentation. Do not enter client names, initials, contact information, diagnoses, histories, or session content in entries, site or supervisor details, task notes, or reminders. Notes are for your own non-clinical reminders.
Before sharing a report or PDF, check its contents and destination. It may include your account's sites, supervisor names and credentials, dates, activities, and notes. For details on collected and synced information, see the Privacy Policy.
Read-only integrations
Accrue's REST API provides read-only access to progress and, with the appropriate access scope, selected records. Results reflect the server's synced snapshot and may be incomplete until devices finish syncing. The API does not return reminder notes, supervisor contact details, or clinical information. Connected services handle the data they receive under their own policies; Accrue's results do not establish eligibility. For API-key access, endpoints, scopes, limits, errors, and the OpenAPI schema, see the REST API reference.
