Add, pause, and remove ledgers
A ledger applies one set of requirements to your record. Accrue proposes ledgers from your path during setup. You can add, pause, and remove them afterward.
See what you keep
In Settings, the Ledgers section lists each ledger with its authority. A ledger is marked Inactive when it is turned off or After the degree when it waits for your graduation. Open a ledger to see its hours and categories, requirements, dropped and flagged weeks, and any hours entered from before Accrue.
Add a ledger
Under Ledgers, choose Add ledger, then pick a board or program ledger. A ledger that cannot sit beside one you already keep is marked Not now, with the reason. Before relying on a new ledger, open its requirements and read the source, when it took effect, and when it was last checked.
A placeholder ledger holds your hours without a target because verified figures are not available for that track. It does not mean the board's rules are loaded. If you enter figures of your own, they remain yours and are marked unverified.
Turn a ledger off or back on
Turn Active off in a ledger's settings, or choose Deactivate on its progress page. An inactive ledger keeps its recorded hours, leaves Home, and is left out of active reports. Turn Active back on in Settings to return it.
Turning a ledger off is the safer choice when you might need its totals again, such as a program ledger after graduation.
Remove a ledger
Open the ledger in Settings and choose Remove ledger, then confirm. Your logged hours stay and keep counting in your other ledgers. To keep a ledger's history without seeing it day to day, turn Active off instead.
Enter hours from before Accrue
In a ledger's settings, Hours so far takes the hours that ledger already had before you started using Accrue, by category, as of a date. Weekly rules do not apply to these hours. They are added to the totals as entered. A ledger that accepts pre-degree hours shows its cap, and anything above the cap is not counted. See Opening balances and earlier experience.
Read dropped and flagged hours
Dropped and flagged in a ledger's settings lists hours that did not count and weeks that raised a question. Dropped hours stay on record but do not count toward that ledger. Flagged weeks are advisory, not a finding; your board's own text controls.
Rule updates
Licensing requirements and accreditation standards are reviewed regularly, and updates arrive in the app automatically. On iPhone, Settings shows the Rule catalog version. Tap it to check for an update now. An update can add a rule that takes effect on a later date, but it does not rewrite the rules that applied to earlier entries. Offline, Accrue uses the last copy it received.
