Getting help
Email admin@roomtogrowllc.com. Include your state, the licences you are pursuing, and what you expected Accrue to say. Most questions are about how a particular board's rule is being counted, and that is easier to answer with those three things in hand.
Common questions
Why did my week not count?
Most boards require a minimum amount of supervision in any week where you see clients. When a week falls short, Accrue drops that week's hours for the ledger whose gate was missed, and says so on the week card. Open the week to see which site was short and by how much.
Why do my hours differ between two ledgers?
Because the boards and your programme count differently. Each ledger applies its own rules to the same entries: different buckets, different caps, different treatment of group supervision. That difference is the point of the app.
Where do the figures come from?
Each ledger carries its source and the date it was last checked. Open the ledger to see them. Figures are read from each board's published text.
My state says its figures are not loaded.
Board rules are in place for California, Texas, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia. Other states get a placeholder ledger that counts your hours without a target, so nothing is lost while its figures are researched. Email us and we will tell you where yours is in the queue.
Can my supervisor sign on my phone?
Yes. Hours, then Export, then Weekly summary. The summary renders as a PDF and your supervisor signs it on your screen. A week that has not met its supervision gate cannot be signed.
Does Accrue store anything about my clients?
No. There is no field for it anywhere in the app.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, then Account, then Delete account.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting your Accrue account or removing the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases on the Accrue access screen or in Settings. Sign in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
A note on what Accrue is
Accrue is a record-keeping aid. It reports what a board's or programme's published rules say about your record. It does not decide whether you are eligible for licensure, and it is not a substitute for your board's or your supervisor's judgement.
