These Terms are an agreement between you and Room to Grow LLC governing your use of Accrue. By creating an account, purchasing access, or using Accrue, you agree to them.
1. What Accrue provides
Accrue is a recordkeeping aid for psychotherapy trainees and associates tracking supervised experience. It can organize entries, apply configured rule sets, display progress, and create exports. Accrue is not a licensing authority, school, supervisor, law firm, healthcare provider, or professional credentialing service.
Accrue does not provide legal, clinical, licensure, educational, tax, or employment advice. A displayed total, warning, projection, or completed task does not establish that an hour will be accepted or that you are eligible for licensure, graduation, registration, employment, or reimbursement. You are responsible for confirming requirements and records with your board, program, employer, and supervisor.
2. No client information
You must not enter client names, initials, contact information, dates of birth, case numbers, diagnoses, clinical notes, or other protected or identifying client information into Accrue. Accrue is not an electronic health record or HIPAA recordkeeping system.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for maintaining your own official records and backups.
You may delete your account in the app. Deleting an Accrue account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple.
4. Paid access
Accrue requires paid access. Available purchase options may include a monthly auto-renewing subscription, an annual auto-renewing subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase for access to the then-current Accrue app and its generally available features.
Prices are shown in the app and App Store in your local currency before purchase. Taxes may apply. “Lifetime” refers to the commercial life of Accrue as offered by Room to Grow and does not guarantee perpetual availability, every future feature, or support for every future device or operating system.
5. Free trial and subscription renewal
Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial on the monthly plan or a 14-day free trial on the annual plan. Eligibility is determined by Apple. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the selected subscription converts to a paid subscription at the price shown at purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase and for renewals. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Removing the app or deleting your Accrue account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
6. Billing, refunds, and purchase restoration
Apple processes App Store purchases and controls billing, subscription management, and refunds. Refund requests are subject to Apple's terms and policies. Use Restore Purchases in Accrue to restore eligible purchases made with the same Apple Account.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Accrue unlawfully or to violate another person's rights; enter client-identifying or clinical information; attempt to access another person's account or records; interfere with the app, its security, or its supporting services; reverse engineer or redistribute Accrue except where applicable law expressly permits it; or use automated means to abuse, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service.
8. Rule sources and availability
We aim to cite and review authoritative sources, but laws, board rules, program requirements, interpretations, and forms can change. Sources may be incomplete, delayed, ambiguous, or unavailable. Features, supported rule sets, and synchronization may change or experience interruptions. You must retain and verify the official records required by your authority.
9. Intellectual property
Accrue, its design, software, text, and branding are owned by Room to Grow LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of information you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, synchronize, and display that information to operate the app.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accrue is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that any authority, program, employer, or supervisor will accept a record, calculation, signature, or export produced by Accrue. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Room to Grow LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost records, opportunities, income, licensure credit, or professional standing arising from your use of or inability to use Accrue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to Accrue will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Accrue during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent misuse, or discontinue the service. You may stop using Accrue at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and payment provisions.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Accrue or applicable requirements. Updated Terms will show a new effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
14. Apple terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Accrue except as required by law, and Apple may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary where applicable.
